Numark Mixtrack Pro / Traktor LE Edition - Headphone Problem

Hi,
I want to make sure I understand:
1. Your laptop is connected to an external stereo system.
2. You want one track to play through the stereo system, and another track to play through your headphones.

What are your headphones connected to?

 

Hey man I got that USB how do I get it to separate and play both or is there something else that needs to be done?

Now all you have to do is:
1.Download ASIO4ALL - http://www.ASIO4ALL.com.
2. Launch Traktor Pro 2.
3. Go to Preferences>Audio Setup>Choose "ASIO4ALL v2" as your "Audio Device">Settings>Make sure both your earphones and soundcard are highlighted>Exit "settings">go to "Output Routing">choose "Output Monitor" Left and right as "USB Audio device" (your earphones)>Choose "Output Master" Left and Right as "HD Audio output" 1 and 2 (if you have a different soundcard, choose it)>Close.

I also made sure that the earphones volume was up, and that the "cue/mix" button was on the "mix" side. It should work fine.
Tell me if you got it to work.

My headphones work, except their volume is controlled by the master gain (I don't think this is normal) and Cue Mix and Gain knobs do not work.

I think I must have it set up where Traktor thinks the headphones are the main audio source..

I got asio all set up and etc. help though?

hello there....i.m having the same problems, i'm using 2speaker+subwoofer sound system connected to a laptop and mixtrack pro...i can't seem to make it work...i even tried like Elad189...with the mini sound card....i have 2 active devices in the asio device manager, but still no sound from headphone....speakers work fine, mixtrack is sync....i tried even without Asio....the same, speakers ok, no headphone....any ideas? i'm really unhappy
i set output routing like 1,2- 3,4, still nothing...i don't know what to do

Gonna give you help and sxplain it to the best i can
From all the reading and reasearch i did this is what i ended ip doing
1.redo your settings correctly in set up wizard if you struggle go to youtube theyll show you
2.in settigs choose the mixtrack pro for your soundcard
3.then I went to settings on traktor all the way at the bottom where u choose the mapping of the midi and chose mixtracck pro on the first drop down box
4. Go to output routing make sure its on 3-4 1-2 in that order in internal because you havent got any external systems running besides the speakers but that comes out of the decks
5.and make sure the chords RED WHITE Are connected correctly to the back try the right two then the left two if not working
Like i sai this is what i did pthers do things differently this is what i did after wasting money on little sound cards etc no need mictrack pro has it inbuilt not mixtrack so make sure you have the rite pne forst but if u do shouldnt be a problem
If you get stuck on anything go to youtube man it helped me a crap load
Im using pioneer cdj350s with a djm350 and using traktor still and learnt how to connect it through youtube

Guys if you have a mixtrack pro you dont need a external hard drive
It has one built in internally
The soundcard is only for thise using athe mixtrack

i managed to sort it out: i have started all over again, this time with traktor 2 pro....set
my soundcard as Asio....output routing : for monitor usb 3,4 and for master hd 1,2, now it;s working fine. in WDM device i have my soundcard + mixtrack (usb), i guess it should work only with the mixtrack, cuz that's why it's built in , but i don't know...this is how i got it.

Hey, I have a headphone problem with my mixtrack pro.
In Traktor le both decks play through my speakers and in Serato DJ both decks play through my headphones...
I have spoken to numark, downloaded the driver and got it all set up correctly with 3 & 4 as output monitor and 1 & 2 as output master but still can't get one deck playing through speakers and one through headphones...
Can anyone help?

 

I have bought mix track pro and with traitor LE but I cannot get any sound my headphones and I did read your post and I didn't understand it because I looked in the ASIO4ALL instruction manual and it only has 11 pages and I don't no what u mean by 14.2 please help!

 

On the product page, you can download a Setup with Traktor-document, which should help.

 

With Mixtrack Pro & Traktor Pro installed try this, Open up Asio4All by clicking in taskbar icon once Traktor has loaded. Once in Asio4All settings make sure your Onboard Soundcard & Mixtrack Pro are BOTH highlighted (both need to be highlighted for advanced options in setup), then in Traktor Pro Preferences in Output Routing it will give you more options in drop down menu's. Mine were basically: Output Monitor L Mixtrack Pro 3, Output Monitor R Mixtrack Pro 4, Output Master L Headphones/Speakers 1 Output Master R Headphones/Speakers 2. This worked for me.
