Numark Mixtrack Pro

Does anyone know where I can get a .tsi file so I can use my Mixtrack Pro with Traktor Scratch Pro? I'm surprised that Numark didn't provide one themselves and I much prefer Traktor to the rubbish version of VDJ they supplied with it.

 

There's a Mixtrack preset in the Setup Wizard.

 

Which setup wizard? All I got in the box was the controller, some manuals and and installation disc for VDJ LE.

 

In LE int he prefs.

Did you update it?

 

When ever I look in the preferences of virtual DJ LE, I just get asked to upgrade. I am using version 1.2.1 of Traktor Scratch Pro and there is no option for the Mixtrack in the default settings folder of that either. I have looked on the disc and there is no sign of a .tsi.

 

I meant TSP, not LE sorry.

Update it in the service center and you can use the setup wizard

I can't seem to find the Mixtrack setup file in Traktor Pro. Is there any reason it will be in TSP and not TP?

 

No TP and TSP are the same Program except TSP has timecode control support.

Are you running the latest version of Traktor?

 

native instruments/default settings/controllers/numark/mixtrack.tsi

it's in the install disc and in your traktor install on your harddrive.

 

Thanks - was using an old version (which was still on my hard drive after updating)

Still some issues with jog wheels though (see other thread)

 

I just got the Numark Mixtrack Pro yesterday, i have Traktor Pro aswel and i have went into the Launch Service Center and updated all the drivers for it, when i go into the Setup Wizard and look for Mixtrack Pro its still not there? Any advice? Really want to sort this or its a waste of money.

Are you using a mac?
Maybe you're still running th eold version even though the new versaion is installed because the path changed in 1.2.3 or so and the shortcut doesn't change.
