Numark NDX800

To get this to work, you have to create a modifier for each deck.

Map a button to modifier M1 for instance.

Then you would set all your effect controls: dry/wet, p1-p3, etc.
and be sure to specify on each
FX Unit 1 when M1 = 0 and FX Unit 3 when M1 = 1

So when you are done, you should have 2 entries for dry/wets, 2x p1's, 2x p2's, 2x p3's etc. but one would be fx unit 1 when m1 = 0 and the other fx unit 3 when m1 = 1

I was able to connect with Traktor Pro MIDI CD PLAYER NDX800 with the file that is in Numark.com TSI, the problem is that the LED Patallo cd player symbols only appear Pause, Play and Advancement of the track but lack everything else, Pitch, Time, BPM etc, there will be some way to edit this archvo TSI, and include everything you need, or if anyone will be no echo. Hopefully someone can give me an answer. Greetings

I Suryya I have the same kind of issue with my new ndx 800 I upgraded for the new firmware from the numark website and now wont load cd wont do anything and I get an error message "Chip No ACK" I was wondering if you figurded out how to fix yours and if you or anybody on the site could help I would appreciate.

i have updated the firmware on one of my ndx 800 from version 24 to version 28 and now its not taking any cd.......... the reason a updated it was because anytime i insert a cd it says error disc i had was to power off and back on so i updated it and now its not even taking the cd usb ports are work on but not the cd player ................. can u plz help me fix this problem

I am new to this forum, and I am sorry to reopen this topic - but actually this was the only hint I can find for my problem with connecting my NDX800 to my computer/traktor.

Therefore I really would appreciate your help in this, because I am facing the same issue as mentioned from magellanx. The "Connecting" Phrase keeps blinking with one of my NDX800 but it seems it does not really connect. :angry: Although in windows in the hardware-manager the NDX800 is listed. I am running Firmware 028 - Funny is, that with my other NDX800 everythink is ok :S

@magellanx: Did you solve the problem? How did you downgrade your NDX800 to 024?

@All: I really appreciate your help - I already contacted the Numark support, but without any reply.

thanks for that I downgraded the device to 024, as I updated already some month ago. (didn´t know that the usb sticks needs to be formated with FAT32) - but no change at all...

I will keep trying to contact Numark Support - if you have any other ideas or tricks - or maybe if somebody even have older firmware than 024 please let me know.

Hi, someone could post screenshots or video guide of the traktor scratch pro 2.0.1 setting with 2 ndx 800 on mac osx?
I have imported the NDX800 PRO Dual Deck.tsi from the control manager but the guide file is for windows.

I am having an issue with my ndx800. It only says connecting when i use the parameter knob to pick USB-MIDI as the source. Can anyone please help with this.

Hi i feel the platters are very slippery too for scratching also my platter seems to tilt alot to the point it grips to the main unit underneath the platter. Is this the same with all units maybe im pressing too hard?

 

Hello everyone, I have 2 ndx800 updated firmware_v028 connected to Imac (Osx 10.6.8) and i find a significant difference in reactivity of the jog wheel between the midi mode and timecode mode...I loaded the Pro Dual Deck tsi file and assigned correctly in the device setup for each deck A and B the respective ports in and out, but the jog wheel does not respond quickly while in timecode mode is highly accurate. moreover when the button scratch is active, the jog's pich bend no work (not the small buttons + and -) and the pitch button no change from 6%,12%.25%...and nor the bleep / reverse no work...
What are the parameters to set the reactivity and accuracy (for the scratch) of the jog as when you use it in timecode?

how do I get the pitch band also on the jog and be able to change the % of picth button and bleep / reverse?

and more...every time I turn off the cdj or traktor will reset everything and I have to set them back in device of controller manager..how can I avoid it?
