Has anyone got it in yet?

I went into L&M because they were supposed to be in this week and they have been backordered until April now.

    BOOOOOOOO!

They would be small stickers so I could check with NI if they want to produce them or I could.

Also, I mentioned it to the designer over at 12inch Skinz as well.

Numark ns7 is made 4 Serato not Traktor

The price tag is $1,200.00 that a lot of money for something that made for Serato not Traktor

It's not made for Serato only. They are just partnered with Serato.

That is why TS Pro 1.1.1 has 14-bit Midi support.

Also, it specifically states in the Numark FAQ they are working with all manufacturers to ensure compatibility.

I'm not sure on the Denon side, but that's were I come in for the NS7.

And keep it mind, the support will come. Believe you me.

Does nobody else think the NS7 and the Stanton one are just the most ridiculously overpriced/pointess things ever?

Come on, if you want to feel like a vinyl DJ, get TSP and some normal decks and MIDI Controllers for cheaper. I wouldn't fancy taking an NS7 to a gig to be told "Can't use it, not enough room" or some other comment that implies you cant use it.

It's bad enough trying to tell some system techs that an Audio 8 is fine...some just wont have it.

Firstly, this isn't to replace turntables for performing. I just needed some thing to be able to record mixes in the hotel room or when I'm on the road without turntables.

The NS7 is the 'portable' solution. Yes, it's highpriced but so is $800 for one turntable.

Isn't it really big though? It seems like a rather impractical thing to be carrying around, but then again if you are on tour then I'd say you have your own dedicated transport, I'm just used to using trains over here in the UK. And where have you been quoted $800 for a turntable? One and A Letter word for you my friend, B-Stock...got a pair of 1210mk2's that were ex-display with a years full warranty (parts and labour) for precisely $841.487 USD as I've calculated right this very second using xe.c o m, we have whybuynew.c o.u k over here, perhaps there is a similar U.S. site?

exactly... you can get used 1200s and a virtual vinyl setup for cheaper than the retail price of the ns7

well if youre using it for mixes in a hotel room i guess thats cool, you cant carry your decks everywhere. id honestly just go with a cheaper, smaller console if thats what you want this for.

Let me make something clear. I'm a vinyl scratch DJ. Passive jog wheels do NOT cut it.

That is why the NS7 even exists today. Tactile control with feedback is key.
