Phone support can't do jack... its so frustrating that they support the cdj200 and not the ns7....I think the best way is for everyone to keep sending emails to tech support I will continue to send emails and will try to send one daily...if EVERYONE sends an email to tech support daily maybe they might have a F~KC-ing AHA! Moment....and add in the support email to please forward to the Higher UPs....

Like I said there is something I have tested but it's preliminary. Hold up until January and we'll see what happens.

okay i followed this issue since a while and wanted to ask what the current status quo is?
it seems to me that djquartz has solved the compatibility issue, or didn't you?
    scratching works correct?
I'm thinkin about selling my technics sl dz 1200 and getting an ns7... would you currently recommend buying an ns7 or shall I wait till NI builds in native support? will numark update the hardware to an ns8 in the next few months?
    questions, questions, questions...

    @ Bijan,

I haven't work out everything, the current TSI only allows you to cue and scratch with the platters. But you cannot control the pitch of the decks while the platters are on. You will have to use internal playback only.

As far as I know and can see, Numark will not be drastically changing the NS7. That's why the NSFX exists today as an add-on. The base NS7 will remain the same apart from them changing the wording on the Delete button to Shift instead.

I can recommend a NS7 as hardware no doubt, the problem is I cannot recommend it for use with Traktor yet.

I will recommend for you to wait and see if the NS7 is supported by Traktor in 2010. The message I received from a Numark rep is they were aiming for Q1 2010. That's all I know right now.

Shhhh, don't be putting our business out in the street. DAMN

Anyway, let's keep this on topic I don't want it to get all out of hand up in here. If anyone else has any test findings to report please post them up.

    Thanks

How do you configure Traktor Pro to work with the Numark NS7?

I recently purchased a Numark NS7. I was attempting to use the Tracktor Pro setup wizard and ran across a small problem. The NS7 was not listed in the list of devices. Is there another device I can use to emulate the NS7 or will NI be coming out with an update that will allow a user to map controls to the NS7?

    Thanks

Hey i just got an NS7 and I would like to be able to use it along with Maschine. From what it looks like you do that if you use Traktor, but the NS7 isn't fully supported by traktor. Does anyone else have this setup?

    @ Radio,

The NS7 is not natively supported. All the functions in my tsi are midi assignments only. So the platters are not fully functional if you read back in the prior postings.

If you want to use Machine as a controller, you could do that as well since Traktor does support multiple controllers with the new Controller Manager implementation.
