Numark NS7 / NSFX / V7

Hey thanks for putting me in touch with Kartel from 12inchskinz, he made my labels in an hour and i love them, this guy is just amazing at this stuff. For anyone else out there looking for custom vinyl skinz or any graphics design this is definitely your guy.

What version of Traktor?

Is native support being developed for Traktor Pro?

 

If native support is added, it would be for all versions that have controller support.

 

This leads us to an interesting discussion.
Where can the NS7 actually be used? I will use it for weddings this year.

I've got another question too:
Fader start is a cool thing for doing some tricks, but what is the intended use for it. In the heat of the battle I'd rather fire a cue-point.

 

This should get interesting now that the SSL conversion tool is released. Since Itch uses the same database as SSL, users could just convert over nicely.

 

Answer my questions, dude!

What is fader-start intended to be used for?

For which gigs can the NS7 actually be used?

 

To me fader start is just the same functionality it has on cdj's.

When you turn it on, it jumps to the beginning of the track and starts the platter when you fade to that side.

It could be used for tricks or for dropping tracks. I don't use it personally.

 

its useless unless you cut out the lead in to a sample, the fader reverse is also tucked in there with those fstart switches which is really inconvenient.

Numark rep said Q1 2010, so I'm just waiting for a statement now.

I'm not going to get upset or hyped up, just wait to see what happens.

 

I'm going to take my NS7 and chuck it at Native Instrument's Office if there is no update soon....

 

Better idea, have a meeting with them and do a demo. Maybe do a quick write up of the benefits.

If I lived in Berlin I would have done it already.

 

TPro Update 1.2.4 full support including Platter support for NS7 we wanted this YESTERDAY!

 

Another Update disappointment......WTF!

 

Where do you see that? Cause the 1.2.4 changelog doesnt say that for me?

 

Guys, relax. Numark and NI just teamed up on a new product. So with all these things in the works. I'm thinking next major release which would be after this hotfix release.
As I stated previously, the Numark rep said target was Q1 2010.

This will happen, seeing how things are going.

 

Please tell me it's the X7 mixer with built-in soundcard for timecode?
