    traktor pro and ns7

    Hi DJ QUARTZ, i am having a hard time running your tks files with my version of traktor pro.
    I run the latest version (2.6), on an macbook pro, intel based ( latest upgrades as well). I have the NS7.
    when i input your files some buttons work but not all of them.
    ie: when i press the 1 hot key, it sends the CUE...
    could you please help me, i am doing something wrong and don't know what it is!
    thanx in advance for your patience and understanding

    No news from NI, no reason to post here.

    Maybe something pops up on Monday in the German Traktor on the Record-session but besides that theres not much to look forward to.

    heh At this pace i think ITCH 2.0 will come out before native support from Traktor, at which point i might rather stick with ITCH 2.0 with the bridge.

    not planning to, although I'm really swamped with work / university / livesets and remixes and I'll have little to no time for experiments until mid-august.

    sorry about that. a lot has piled up over the last few weeks.

    what does it take to get some support for the NS7? There's a lot of us patiently waiting that something will happen soon.

    The thing about it is... Pioneer and Serato are working real close to get SSL and the CDJ-2000's to working together great! Would be nice if N.I. & Numark could do the same.

    it's most likely not because NI are incapable of implementing the NS7/V7 platter protocol. my guess is serato simply have some kind of exclusive deal with numark that can't be circumvented - and once it expires, we'll get native support (pun intended) for those lovely decks immediately. but that's just a guess.

    got my first V7 coming in this week, too bad to hear that TSP support isn't available yet...anyone on here try that traktor + itch method to any reasonable success?

    @sinjintek: I wouldn't have wasted time recording a video if I didn't consider it useable :)

    Oh, so you're the one who posted that vid? I watched it awhile back, haven't tried it out yet since I'm sending my Zero4 in to have the FX slider repaired (I haven't actually sent it out yet so maybe I'll hook it up before it goes).

    I use itch to practice scratching on the NS7. But when it comes to mixing/effects traktor can't be beat. It's such a nice piece of hardware but without the proper software support it's not living up to it's potential.
