Numark Omni Control mixer settings

I am trying to trigger the midi note for the LEDs of buttons on/off (above deck A) and reloop (above deck B). Does anyone know the midi notes for these LEDs?

I fixed the problem. I've found a good way of troubleshooting leds notes is loading other .tks maps that already have the led mapped.

for Deck A the on/off led note is D3
for Deck B the reloop led note is A#5

 

Hey, I tried using those commands for the LED's and they didn't work, and the link to your TSI file isn't working either

Hey..This is the TSI that I use with Traktor, and in my opinion its the best one yet, however the LED's don't work on my omni! Any ideas why?

I have all the LEDs and a ton of maps for Numark Omni/Stealth...however, i just switched over to a mac, my PC is gone. I have some TSI files tuked away. Im looking for them myself. Ill send some but Im very "out there" with my mappings and I dont feel like explaining right this minute..lemme see what I can find...

I actually found a bunch you would prob like from the past two versions of tpro...however ive neve bveen able to attach these damn things I get this message "mixedeffects.tsi:
Your file of 1.25 MB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 1,000.0 KB for this filetype."

Whats the deal?

I believe the Omni and Total Control have the same mapping

 

.TSI Files Come with Traktor Pro Download

Hey everyone,

I had the same issue. Search your computer for .tsi files & there should be one in your files that were installed for traktor. There should be a .tsi file called "Onmi Numark."

Go into properties & upload this & you should be good to go. You may want to change around a few of the settings though. I still need to do this

Definitive solution problem

I was have the same problem.
I solve it doing that:

1º Inside of preferences\hotkey & midi setup\midi interfaces choose (clicking in the box) Numark omnicontrol

2º On Midi Setup. Click the load button and search the tks file of TRAKTOR LE. its inside of "users\..\documents\tracktor3" folder.

My copy of Traktor 3 will only load .tks files, not .tsi.

Is this the same with everyone else?

I have trawled the net and am still to find decent .tks file - does anyone have a completed file?

Install TRAKTOR LE and search the .tks it works on TRAKTOR 3 PRO.

 

Can anyone post the tks file from Traktor LE for us users with Traktor Pro? Rather than going to install LE? If its not allowed thats fine.

 

Try using this mapper for Traktor pro...it works much better (Credits go to Kekko) I didn't make the mapper THe page button is a modifier and holding it down and pressing + and - buttons changes loop lengths. THe upper left and upper right buttons control
hot cue's when holding down page. If you have any questions reply...Hope this helps

I'm currently pulling my freakin' hair out on this.... and THANK YOU, this one seems to be working fine.

The TSI files from Numark don't even make the track search wheel work, just went from top to bottom. Is it just me, or does this seem really lame?

 

im struggling here, i have omni, and when i upgraded from Traktor LE to TSPro, all i did was select the omni control in the drop down menu.

there are 2 maps there, one is the LE map which has limited functionallity on TSP, and a omni map which i thought was for Pro, thats the one i use and all the controls are there as far as i can tell... ok fine pitch doesnt seem to work but ive not looked at the manual full, just plugged and played.

only issue i would like to see is the auto loop, with loop length reduction etc...

Can anyone post the tks file from Traktor 3. I have the traktor 3.3 and there's no tks file.

 

But you can't load .tsi - only .tks....

how did you do it?

 

You are using Traktor pro right? All you have to do is load go to settings midi, and import it.

I only have Traktor LE so I can't try it out but maybe this is a solution to your problem?

A mapping enabling scratching (like when you klick “PAGE”, scratch mode on), assigned as button to the jog wheel maybe enables scratching while a deck is playing.

Please tell me if it works. I am going to upgrade to Traktor Pro soon, just bought the Omni Control.

My Omni Control has no PAGE and no SCRATCH button but FX settings on both sides. Is it a different version? I'm a bit confused.

Another question: Does the turntable encode timecoded vinyls or is it Traktor? The signal from the turntable is sent to Traktor through an audio interface, correct? Can I use any turntable?

 

Noob issues

My Tracktor PRO does not list the MIDI SETUP option, it says only "MIDI Clock" right below "Imput Routing"...

I have just setup my numark omni control with traktor pro for the first time.. all buttons are mapped correctly, but I don\'t seem to hear anything when pressing PFL buttons to cue up a track , the headphones do work (I have tested them with other equipment), I checked the settings, but I could not find anything to change, the headphone mix and knobs are set to 50% each and I they don\'t do nothing..

Also the track selector knob, scrolls across the list by skipping every 2 lines, so I can\'t choose a track in between.. I have to do it using the mouse/trackpad.

Hi, I´m new in this forum and need help installing my new omni control to work with my traktor scratch pro.
I´ve installed some of the tsi files i´ve found in this thread and also the default configuration on the traktor 1.2.4 and my omni just goes crazy, turns effects on and off on it´s own as well as mid kill and pitch bend
I´m new to any midi mapping and don´t have any idea what to do, please somebody help me!

Edit: After a few hours I got it working, hopefully it will stay like that, can anyone give me a link to a tutorial to mapping because I would like to change a few controls.
I also want to buy a x1 controller for when I play with cdj decks, can i use it also when i play with the omni control? like the omni for decks and mixer and the x1 for the effects?
