Numark onmi Control with Traktor pro

Hi, can any 1 help me with set up the jog wheels in pro?

Ok , i can use my Jog wheels when a track is paused or in cue to rewind / foward the tack.

But my jog wheels are in effective other than for pitch bend purposes when a track is in play.

So i cant use the jog wheels for scratching or for stopping / starting a track whilst in play.

Anyhelp?

 

You need to reassign the MIDI-mapping for scratching.
Therefore assign a scratch on and scratch event to your wheel and remove the pitchbend.

sorry i'm not an expert at midi controllers or Traktor

 

Go to MIDI Mapping, Add->Transport->Scratch.
Click learn, spin the jog wheel.
Sort the list by clicking on the "Assigned" column.
Search for the highlighted entry (the scratch-event you just created).
Above or below should be the pitch-bend command you need to delete.
Then try it out!

I don't own a OmniControl so I don't know if it sends a message when you touch the jog.

do you know what jog scratch and bend setting do also in the transport section settings

 

My pitch bend sensitivity is at 100%.
Find a value that suits your needs.

Mix a little. If you're uncomfortable with it, change it!
