I currently own a Numark Stealth Control and I'm about to pick up an X1 (possibly 2 of them). Is it possible to make a TSI file to use the mixer portion of the Stealth and the transport/fx/cue portion of the X1 together for internal mixing?

c'mon TSI builders, i know you can do it :)

I dont own a stealth or a X1 but I'm pretty sure u ( actually,I'm sure! )u can do it, just make sure create a mapping for each individual device and select different midi channels to avoid any clashes...

I'm actually working on a TSI file for my Stealth to go with my X1.

    Channels A and B
    Transport controls: X1
Internal Mixer faders, EQ, and Gain, as they usually are on the Stealth.

    Channels B and C
    Transport controls: Stealth main controls
Internal Mixer faders: the usual pitch controls on the either side of the Stealth
Gain, EQ: controlled by the FX portion and looping functions.

The bulk of my transport and loop functions will be on the A and B decks with the majority of the control being with the X1. I don't generally need that much control over decks C and D so just playback controls are fine…i don't mind going to the mouse to engage looping on those.

So…basically, the stealth acts as a mixer for A,B,C,D…and transport control for C,D. The X1 is FX and transport for A,B.

Now, if i can just get the mapping right. I'm new to it and it's kind of a pain in the arse. If anyone can offer some help, i'd take it.

I am running Windows 7 x64 and have installed Traktor LE that came with my Numark Stealth Controller in the box.

I hooked it up and Windows installed a driver for it. I found a problem though, nothing would lite up!

So i went into File > Audio Preferences menu and made sure taht under MIDI Setup it was selected. But, this did not fix it.

After some more messing around I think i figured out the cause though, i had not went into the same menu and did NOT setup the Output Routing. Without setting a Output Master speaker 1 & 2 the controller does NOT LITE UP! Go figure.

I did a lot of stuff to try and make this wrong so maybe this isnt what fixed it. i did try to install the "Omni Controller Drivers" since i could not find any "Stealth Controller" drivers but they never worked, always timed out. It seems the drivers that come with Windows 7 does the trick you just need to setup that Output master.
