    Could anyone give me a tip on how to sync an ocillation to the bpm of a track?
    Thanks!

    Take the 1/96 clock, scale it to your BPM-synced rate of choice, and run it through a sine module to get the wave. Or cosine or whatever your little heart desires.

    Er, I think you mean the SOngPos, not the 1/96 clock which is just 1's and 0's, but still...

    The two problems with this are;
    - it's dependent on the sequencer running (which may be good thing as the osc will always be cycled at the same point in the same point of the track).

    - It's running at the 1/96 clock rate - which is way worse than the event rate and way way worse than the audio rate. You could smooth it, but that's not always what you want.

    I prefer setting the frquency using some multiple of the tempo-info module, and then using the SongPos divided-down as a trigger for the sync input of the oscillator.

    See Koyaanisqatsi in the user lib for an LFO macro.
    ...or the "Files" section of my website (below)

    CList's solution is undoubtedly better (and yes I did mean songpos).

    I should keep my mouth shut when it comes to matters of fixed tempos and traditional composition. ;-)

    songpos audio works for this, and isn't time-quantised to 1/96th notes.

    Mmmm, interesting, I'd never paid much attantion to that output of the SongPos, and I had always thought it output only whole numbers (which is not the case).

    That's a good tip.

    Personally tho, for an LFO, I prefer working at the event rate, which is the nice thing about the LFO-module.
