The biggest challenge to NI is Kore 2 working as advertised.

I don't believe so. That is why the delay in the release.

I don't know whether I was using a faulty driver or Steiny actually did miracles with 4.1 as far as CoreAudio compatibility goes, but as a matter of fact my latency now is anywhere higher then 11ms with a reasonable buffer size and reasonable low CPU stress.
Still not rocket fast, still a better NI driver would be great, but anyway better, way better than before.
I just wanted you to know.

As it sits right now, I couldn't say. There aren't any K3 .ksds as of yet.

And, since all the new instruments in K3 (with the exception of the Urban Beats stuff, which is coming) have performance views, I'd find it highly probable that the performance view controls will be mapped in their respective .ksds

The announcement of Kore 2´s release date is good news! I look forward to getting the upgrade, as a grace period buyer of Kore 1.

But why is this information from Native only posted in the forum, and not on the main product page (still stating only "autumn 2007") or as a personal e-mail to the costumers regarded by this free upgrade (seeing that they are able to send me info on just about anything else that want me to buy...)?
