Thanks for taking the time to listen. I totally understand where you are coming from. Every day is a school day so they say I'm still learning in a massive way, so any pointers are gratefully received. Do you think the song just sounds like 3 different tracks just glued together? After another listen there that's what I got.

 

Yeah, the changes were sudden and unrelated without any build up or break down leading into the change. You have the right attitude though, just keep at it doing it for the love and the joy it brings you. I have well over a hundred tracks that I really like, but just can't quite get right or find that missing element that would make them complete. One of those weird aspects of the creative process I suppose. Most of them are pretty much finished, but will never be heard by anyone other than me... basically like all of my music. lol

 

I find most times that if I start something that has some promise and I leave it for a while, its really hard to go back to and do something with it, I end up losing the creative flow so to speak.

This is something I've done with a bit more structure(I think/hope)

I've been working on some newer pieces so some of these older tracks get lost in the mix. I'll use this playlist to drop some forgotten pieces.

I can't wait to release the new stuff; less sampling (I STILL LOVE TO SAMPLE THOUGH), more instrumentation, more variety...it's crazy!
