I've looked at all material relating to Traktor Pro / Traktor Scratch Pro but could not come up with an answer to this:

Will Traktor Scratch / Traktor Pro offer improved key correction similar to Serato's highly efficient (and non-artifacting) algorythm?

The only new "key" feature are the adjustment knobs in the built-in mixer. If these are simply extensions of the three existing key adjustment options, this will be a disappointment

I understand Serato having an advantage with its first big product being Pitch n' Time, but this is the only area in Traktor I see lacking. I am hopeful for the new Pro versions as I currently own (and enjoy) both Traktor Scratch and Traktor.

Also, does Beatport plan to cooperate with the new album cover feature and offer covers as part of some built in mp3 ID3-tag option?

Overall, the Pro update looks great and can't wait to use it =)

Yes, I agree that this would be very useful!

How do I get the album art for the thousands of tunes I already have?

guys we are gonna pull back on the detailed answers quite a bit for the time being. We're doing this for a couple of reasons.
1/ People are asking for more and more detail some or most of which will have to wait till Nov 1.
2/ Were happy to answer basic questions but a great deal of what is being asked is actually on the mini-site, other basic things we maybe able to answer here.
3/ We as mods want to get some further clarification as to what we can respond to. We don't want to completely unwrap the present if we aren't supposed to yet.
We will continue to answer questions as best we can, but we're not in a position at present to provide lots of details.

In response to @Kev68... yes it can... on Nov1

    quick question please....

Was just about to purchase Traktor Scratch at a local music store in Vancouver Canada. Now this newer pro version is available.

    My question is

Is the hardware (Soundcard) and (time code records) the same as what ships in the newer the pro version.
I do understand that there will be some grace period for people who purchase the old version of scratch to upgrade the software for free.

Its a good deal , probably cause they know Pro is on its way.. as long as the hardware is the same im buying on Monday! Then will upgrade to PRO on November 1...

    Thanks in Advance

    Hey Rich,

The Traktor Scratch Pro will contain the same hardware and timecode vinyl/cd's.

Only the graphics have changed, that's why they look different.
And since you're buying it within the grace period it earns you a free upgrade to Scratch Pro.

    perfect...thanks djquartz

    Good,

Exactly what I expected. Exactly what I wanted to hear, just thought I would do my due diligence. Would not want to buy a new product that contains old hardware....just wanted to be sure that the Traktor pro wasnt shipping with an updated soundcard and 2nd gen timecode vinyl/cds...

    Cheers

    Did you happen to

notice the black ones he's using in the demo video #4 (FX demo) they say Traktor at the top of them! Is that a face plate? Or is that an actual traktor mixer? Check it out for yourself.:)

What i would like to know is : How accurate are the automatic beatgrids? do you still have to do your work in advance just to make sure its really tight?
Or can you rely on the automatic beatgrids and nudge if neccesary?

Well spotted, you can also see allen & heath at the top in the middle, it
looks like a 3D with a traktor 3 face plate/overlay on the two sides.

    From http://www.allen-heath.co.uk/uk/xone3d.asp:
The Xone:3D ships with mains leads, USB cable, user guide, spare knobs & faders, A&H stickers, Traktor overlays, Ableton overlays

That would also explain why there appears to be movement when he presses a button. I was lucky enough to caress molest and generally get my hands all over a 4D the other day and let me tell you, that thing is a tank, i mean it would actually survive a grenade attack mid set and not miss a beat!

Yeah the face plate may be a bit wobbly but the Allen & Heath will be bombproof. I use the Xone62 mixer and its as solid as a tombstone !
