Yes, i asked this before and Phil stated that the arwork that tpro will show is the one phisically embedded in the tag, not the one stored in the itunes collection.

In this sense, and other ones... i still feel that a transparent integration between iTunes library / traktor collection, with realtime updating would be great in order to mantain just one music collection, instead of two.

However I don't know about the implications that a feature like this would take.

I think some one asked this about 14 pages ago but hasn't been answered yet. 64 bit support? I know it says it supports vista 64 bit, but does that also mean there's going to be 64 bit drivers for the audio 8?

 

Yes, I'd like to see this too. Embedding the artwork is not that difficult though, so not a deal breaker for most. iTunes is a great collection management tool if you ask me, and should be here to stay, so further integration could be an option. It's very good at the moment though, so again, not a deal breaker.

Currently, there isn't VST support. I don't have any other information regarding VST support currently.

While this may not be some peoples liking, I can tell you the FX are based on Reaktor Technologies and the possible FX are frickin awesome. Takes Mashups to a whole different place and level.

erm it would help if you could tell us what midi controller you use. The TKS file contains setting for specific controllers.

 

numark total control thats the file Im looking for sorry guys I am really new to this site Ive tried looking around everywhere for the file read the manuel tried to mid map just can't get my head around it have a gig coming up really soon just wanted to try to do something other than mixing on 2 decks since ive done that with viynl for years.

couple of questions - not really expecting answers till the release though and some of these may be spelled out somewhere, but here goes:

can i choose the comments or key tag for display in the loaded deck? i'm tired of skipping to another track in the browser and then forgetting what key i'm in since it's not an option currently.

is there 14bit MIDI res?

will the m-audio trigger finger work via USB on leopard with traktor now? (yeah, right)

is the crossfader on the internal mixer even an option for a scratch DJ? seems to me like it could cut in and out better - not a latency issue - i think the slope isn't steep enough, no matter what kind of MIDI crossfader you might have it's the program - at least in the current version, although i've never directly compared the slope in traktor to a pro-scratch mixer - anyone?

have any improvements been made to the MIDI page?

will my current beatgrids import correctly? i switched my whole collection over to itunes lame encoded mp3s at insane setting from wav and aiff and had to shift all the beatgrids over slightly for each track recently. i'm really hoping i don't have to ever go back through those tracks like that again.

will pro rip, clean, optimize, tag and import my vinyl collection? i really don't have that kind of time.

 

More questions.....

Will there be an option for the pitch slider to appear as a rotary like it did do at one time? (Does TS3 still do this? How?)

Will there be an option to display the the pitch in two decimal places as in +6.25 above the rotary or slider?

Is it 1st Nov yet?.............how many more miles?

 

Give me a link where this is obvious. I see nothing stating that you get upgrades for free if you own both. Poor information. Hope this version is more stable than ts t3.

actually you'll only see mention of the free upgrade for owners of both on the traktor scratch pro pricing page and not the traktor pro pricing page if that clears anything

 

Yeah thats true but surely because its a Traktor Scratch Upgrade not a Traktor upgrade, you have to own Scratch to 'upgrade' it. Regardless all the info is on the minisite so how it can be missed is beyond me.

Anyhoo... its gonna be ace and its gonna be free so .....

if theres some way to let users develop/tweak FX and share them on the forums like reaktor, and this gets done right and before anyone else + the better audio quality traktor has thru the audio 8 dj,

Time Code Records...

So I read earlier that the timecode records are compatable with the software, Both the pro records and the older ones before pro...

If I am to get this update I would want the new records if they have better signal and tracking. I certainly hope they will have some for purchase November 1st ALONG with the release of the update for us users that have TS3 and TS.

It would be very nice if they just sent us a update in the mail that included the software and 2 control records along with it or CD's or both.

I think that would be a way to support your users and keeping buisiness unbeat for quality customer satisfation.

Not to mention, I would like to have my CD key on paper!
Edit: Would also be nice to have an actual CD that I can put with the other 2 that I have.
