You know I did that and had quite a few issues with it. For some reason when you upgrade you don't get the 1.1.1.1 version, you get a previous one. And when you go through the update procedure in the service center it would crash when it came to the Audio 4 DJ driver. I finally gave up and just uninstalled and downloaded the 1.1.1.1 version and did a clean install, everything worked flawless after that.

Using the arrow keys is working, too. Then you have to hold the shift key to select the tracks.

What happened to the 'read file tags (async)' option in the right click menu of the browser? How does one do a batch refresh of ID3 tags in TSPro? Thanks :)

Traktor automatically read Tags when tracks it is launched or when tracks are imported to the collection so no need for the read tags option anymore.

What about when tags are edited in another program like Mixed In Key? If songs already exist in a collection and then have their tags edited I have found no way to update the tags in TSPro other than double clicking on each track in Traktor's browser.

The answer to my question was to run a consistency check on the collection.

So do I have to buy both of them? and do they work with all decks/mixers?

    cheers
    ---
Am I right in thinking that if I were to buy Traktor Scratch Pro it comes with the audio 8 included?

so I can just run this into my decks/mixer that I have already?

    Noob Questions

    Hello all,

I am new to these forums and new to TSP.

I just have a few basic questions. I've searched the forums but could not find clear cut answers.

I've heard and/or read somewhere that in Traktor Scratch Pro, if you have CD Turntables connected through the Audio 8 that you can still utilize the turntable to play other cd's, not just the TSP timecoded cd's, w/o having to unplug anything (which you would have to do w/Serato). Is this true? and how does it work? Do you have to switch something in the TSP interface?

Also, if i were to use the TSP software on its own to do some mixing w/in the application w/o the hardware how do I cue tracks w/my headphones?

Thanks for your help in advance!

    -Paul.

    Traktor Scratch Pro and Macros

How do you assign macros in TSP to keep all records beat synced (like Ritchie Hawtin) so that when beatmashing etc...all the records stay in time? Also, was wondering if when using timecode vinyl, there was a way of auto-syncing the records, without altering the pitch as mine always adjusts to +-0.5bpm almost as though it is trying to adjust the record to get it in sync?

    Cheers

Greetings, i want to know some things before i head and buy this Traktor pro pruduct.
First of all a friend of mine show me this and i try to play at his pc with a version of traktor he had. 3.3.something i think.
When i was playing on deck A and i try to load a track on deck B all was fine.
BUT when i was playing a track on B and i try "accidently" to load a track on deck B it stoped without questioning me if i wanted to stop the track i was playing and played the other track i had just load. There is no question for this? like ( Are you sure you wanna load a track and stop the one you play) or so?
And second and more important i own a Apple MacBook Pro Aluminium - Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz with 2 GB ram, is it totally compatible with it or it causes bugs and errors?
    Thanks,
    Slay.

Yes there is an option in Preferences that prevent Loading into a Playing Deck.

The Mac you have listed is perfect for Traktor. You will have no worries with the Mac.
