OK, so what's next?

Now that some streaming integration has been implemented I would like to know what is the 'next big thing' on the product backlog.

3rd party hardware support (battle mixers and MWM Phase integration) are on top of my wishlist.

So NI what's up?

 

This is a excellent question I wish Traktor had a more clear long term roadmap

• they need to support more streaming services (tidal and soundcloud)
• new gear
• If there is no new gear coming soon they need to at least do a proper midi map to support the top gear (controllers/mixers/"CDJs") out now (pioneer/denon) and if you don't want to do that create a place here on the website so that we can upload our midi maps ourselves in a central certified place
• if its a issue of licensing then make it so people can pay a fee to unlock a DDJ1000 or a Denon S6000 or whatever

When I talk to other DJs about this all they are asking for is options

I thought I've seen a post by an NI person, stating that new beta features for the next release are going to be posted the week after the 3.5.2 release, i.e this week; but I can't find it now :/
Fingers' crossed it's some of those long standing & strongly requested features/fixes!

Nah, we just get a shiny new forum which we don't need, but gives NI an excuse to run a marketing campaign.

 

A new battle mixer would be awesome! The Z2's layout is super outdated, then again I'm not sure NI's sees value in our small DVS market.
