Omni Control no Master Out

I have a Win 7 64 bit machine running Traktor Pro latest version. Traktor provided .tsi seems to have all buttons, etc working ok, headphones are good. But no Master output on 1 & 2

Yes I have the Output routing set Monitor= 3 & 4 Master 1 & 2

any ideas?

all buttons faders etc seem to be working ... but no master out? It has to be a setting somewhere I am missing

There is not a place where you can put the X next to the controller like on Traktor 3

 

so now after go around with Traktor Support I can get 3 & 4 to play Master out but not 1 & 2. I am trying to get some help from Numark now ... as this could be a hardware defect...

Does anyone have a simple way I can test just test the master out (maybe with a simple program?)... I have a gig next week and I am dead in the water right now...

you could use asio as your default music player soundcard and use only output 1+2

I take it I just change my audio source to the Omni Control in sound setting somewhere?

 

i don't know if the omnicontrol interface can be detected, if not i would use asio

But for those you may need it :

- Preferences > Audio Setup > Audio Device

Select the Omni Control ASIO driver ( or however it is identified)

- Preferences > Output Routing

Select Internal, then

Output Monitor > 3 & 4

Output Master > 1 & 2

Easy as that...

 

I have done that and nothing out of 1 & 2, I can switch the output settings around and get master out through 3 & 4, but then I lose the ability to use the headphone cue / volume.

 

And does Output 1&2 work outside of Traktor with something like iTunes (given that you select the Omni as Windows default soundcard) ?

 

nope ... I can disable my soundcard and select the omni control as default and it shows the levels bounce up and down in windows but no sound comes through speakers.....

 

Could be a hardware problem with the output 1/2 then...

 

I get this exact same problem. However, I know both outputs work and aren't broken because they both work individually, but not together. It sucks!
