Hi all, just got an omni control and am having some problems setting it up...

I'm using windows 7 home premium 32 bit. traktor scratch pro 1.1.2.004

I can select the 'omni control ASIO driver' as my sound card, but when i import the MIDI settings for it, there is no functionality whatsoever.

I tried to install to my mates macbook pro with snow leopard, and soon as i imported the MIDI settings the omni lit up and started working.

At the moment i have tried to install using both the drivers from the supplied disk, and the ones for 32 bit OS (though it only says for systems up to vista) found in the support section

I have searched and tried everything listed in this thread, but it is from before the release of win7. http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78779&page=3

please tell me there is a solution for this? because before long this thing is going to be launched out of a window!

    Thank you!

    James

I'm having the same problem. Soundcard output but no midi control whatsoever, even after importing the TKS from the forums.

I am on a Macbook Pro, and have the same symptoms on both a Windows XP and a Windows 7 partition.

The omni just doesn't play nice with anything apart from Traktor LE in my experience. Really dissapointed with it.

my omni is now sort of working with traktor pro. i uninstalled everything (also deleting the NI files from my documents), then ran the driver install in compatability mode for vista SP1. reinstalled traktor pro, selected omni control from the setup menu, and it now recognises the controller.

now i am having problems as the controller will work for sometimes 5 minutes, then stop responding, sometimes 30 minutes before it stops. but if i disconnect it from the USB port and reconnect it then it works again for another 5-30 mins before doing the same. anyone know what the problem could be here? ie- if the problem is due the the drivers, the default TSI im using, or power supply? (though i have tried all 6 usb2.0 ports on my machine)

also, sometimes the LEDS dont turn on/off when they should. ie- i will stop a track, but the plat button will still be illuminated, the same with the LEDS for the kills/efx. this one sintt he end of the world, but it would be nice to be able to mix without looking at the screen all the time.
