    Hi there.

I have A Numark Omni Control.

I also have a Laptop, running Windows 7(64 bit) Home Premium.
2 Gig Ram, 160 Gig Hard Drive that's empty, and they don't go together.

I successfully installed Traktor LE. The 32 bit driver didn't work, so I downloaded the 64 bit driver and it nearly worked, unplugged the omni control as it's doing it's thing, plugged it back in and away it went, then it just stopped installing.

For 15 mins it had no progress change, with the CPU at 100%, all being used by four separate entries of rundll32.exe.

I then tried to run it using the recommended settings, with the "troubleshoot compatibility" option, using vista with service pack 1 and 2, to no avail.

I looked on the Numark website, and it doesn't say anything about supporting Win7, but then again it doesn;t say it doesn't support it.

I am just looking for a little bit of info, if anyone knows if this is unsupported currently, or if other people have had the same difficulty and have managed to over come it.

    Cheers!

Bump - same setup here - 64 bit Windows 7. No midi mappings. Does Traktor support Windows 7?

Ok This had been driving me crazy for a while but managed to fix it today. What you need to do for windows 7 is to download the 64bit Vista drivers. run the compatability test and run it as a windows Vista programme. Now do the whole install thing by unplugging and replugging the device. Now this took well over an hour to install for some bizzare reason and on the restart my machine crashed but the controller noe works with trackotr le. WOO HOO. nopw if only I could get it to run with pro i would be really happy.

    I hope this helps guy's.

If you follow my guide above it should fix the problem. Just make shure thatr you are using the 64bit viosta drivers which can be downloaded from the Numark website http://www.numark.com/company/media2.php?download_id=CDADMgY6DjlXM1U1
run the compatability test and run it as a Vista programme. it took me over an hour to install but mine works as it should. I hope this helps. If not maybe check your USB ports to see if they could be faulty.

The same things happend to me about a month ago when I was setting up my Toshiba laptop running Windows 7. It failed at first, then I downloaded the Vista drivers and running the compatibility test it all worked using Traktor Pro. It didn't take all that long to install, (2.2 core 2 duo, 6 gig of ram)I tested it out and it worked but haven't used it since. Im going to check it out tonight to see if it still works.
