I sure do have a lot of questions...

anyways, is there a way with either of the delays to set a rate that is relative to the tempo? ie it always plays back quarter notes, but I'm looking for a triplet (dotted eigth note) delay.

In a host, the delay tempo syncs to you main clock of your DAW.
Are you running this in standalone mode? If so, it doesn't know what to sync to. You can try to tap it, but it's not as good as clock lock.

    Thanks,

ok, i run it standalone. i use tap most of the time, but sometimes i sync it to the metronome if I have a definite tempo in bpm. what I need is for the delay to happen at some point other than the quarter note. for instance, if the bpm is set to 60, each delay is 1 sec apart, with the first playing 1 second after I pick the note. so I'm looking for a delay a half sec after the original, with each subsequent repeat 1 sec (1 beat) apart... does this make sense? If I can get this, then I should be able to get a triplet delay using a dotted-eighth-note spacing.

    I shouldn't have sold my DD5

i think i may have come up with a way to get a similar sound with some of the more exotic tempo settings in the metronome... so is it possible to set one button on the rigcontrol to do multiple things at once (tap tempo for a regular delay and for metronome synched delay)? ultimately i need a galloping triplet delay.

Maybe I'm not understanding the issue but in standalone mode it will sync to the metronome time and you can set it for a triplet time i.e. 1/8T,1/4T etc.

?!?! Where? The only place I see those settings is the LFO, and I'm not really sure what they mean...

also, can I set a controller to do more than one thing? Like one button to turn skreamer off and fuzz on? or have the pedal control volume until I press the pedal button, changing it to wah?

In the metronome, you could set it to 3/8 6/8 or any version of compound time and that should get you the triplet feel you want.

As for multiple controllers, this is not yet possible.

In stand alone mode first set the desired tempo on the metronome, next click the "sync" button on whatever delay your using, then adjust the time and it will allow you to choose between 1/4 notes, Dotted 1/8ths, etc.....
