Only upper file in first 4x4 layeris playable in step sequencer?

    I hope the title makes sense...

    I have downloaded the free step sequencer packs to play around with the amazing option of step sequencing :) But for some reason only the upper row of files can be used in the step sequencer. But I like to use other files as well. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this issue?
