Open Kontakt and says that it's BETA and will expire in 14days

    well i was working in my DAW (Presonus Studio one v5 Professional), i opened an instance of Kontakt and got the following message:


    This is a BETA version of Kontakt
    It Will Expire in 14 days

    i own Komplete 12, so the plugin is FULL version.
    i tried to reinstall Kontakt from Native Access, but the problem remains.

    Any ideas for solution? thank you very much.

    what is the version number of the plugin when loaded in S1?

    6.4.0 r81 it's the last one downloaded by Native access
    just noticed that it's an R version... BUT....

    The same here! I bought Kontakt 6 Crossgrade about a day ago! I did a fine search on the internet and this is the FIRST and ONLY thread I've found with this problem. It must be a new problem because if you google it you wont find anything about, except this thread.

    I've tried every kind of NI support, as mentioned above, nothing worked.

    Curiously:
    1) I can load all my libraries and all my 3rd party libraries.
    2) I can use it as standalone as well and can use it as Audio unit plugin in Logic Pro X 10.4.8.
    3) Kontakt shows this message every time I open it as standalone and as an AU plugin. None of its functions seems to be broken.
    4) This message start to appear about an hour ago, here in Brazil, august, 31, about 8 p.m.


    I still have FULL version working, my serial is fine and all my registration is fine.

    So, I've created a ticket support to monitor this new problem...

    well this is interesting, I was working in Kontakt all day and when I just re-opened it, I got the same error. Only thing I did since I closed it last was open Native Access to check on another VST that says it is in need of repair. I did not get this error message when I opened it earlier today.

    I know they made a change to NA for a missing product Icon problem, maybe they messed something else up. and this appears to Be OS Independent...(Happens on Mac and Windows).

    Maybe Matt @ NI or Jeremy @ NI or Mick @ NI can shed some light on this...

    Last week I upgraded, and everything was working fine. I own the full version. Tonight I just got the same error message. I reinstalled and I am getting the same message Beta version and will expire in 14 days.

    I worked with Kontakt 6.4.0 (R81) all time yesterday morning with no problems. Activation is fine and download of its whole library as well. Today I did the same and worked with Kontakt all day. Then, I restarted my mac and when I was trying to load a project in Logic Pro X the message shows up.

    Maybe it's a data tracking problem and the NI Team will fix it till the end of tomorrow morning. I mean, I hope.

    Or, in the worst and perverse case, the solution could be a clean installation of out OS.

    I tagged a few NI folks, will need to see what they say...they are usually pretty good at responding... and as iKalamaZoo stated, no loss of functionality, just the "Annoying Beta Message"

    I got the same thing. 6.4.0 r81 with Cubase Pro 10.5 on Catalina and Nuendo 10.3 on Windows 10.

    i upgraded last week to the final version after an e-mail got by NI... everything was working as perfect it could.. just today this happened...

    Me too. Komplete 12 upgrade Kontakt 6.4.0 R81. The Kontakt info page even says License type: Full

    I just opened Kontakt after having a slew of missing icon problems in KK, and I got this beta dialog box as well.
    Something has gone terribly wrong in NI land.
    After the KK update, I've been told that apps are not found, sample libraries having to be relocated in NA, KK icons missing, and now Kontakt saying its a beta.
    Please, for the love of god, can someone at NI fix these issues so I can go on music making without any of these complications?

    I'm waiting on some feedback and I'll keep you all updated as soon as I hear more.

    At least when you click on the icon for the version it shows full version. I opened Kontakt in standalone, Komplete Kontrol, and Studio One with the same pop up in each one.

    Me too ...

    The message comes up for both the standalone and plug-in versions. I updated Kontakt to this version via Native Access on the 26th of August. At no stage did NA tell me I was installing a beta version.

    I'm guessing that this is an error, a piece of programming left in that should have been removed.
