    Very misleading line of thought. Just because it's developed by a different team, doesn't mean it doesn't change the roadmap, the integration, the vision. Of course it will disrupt.

    Since the open letter and update on the future of the sequencer threads were first posted, just wondering what update or feature you all (Maschine users) have enjoyed or found the most useful? I myself am checking if there's a certain workflow improvement or feature I may have overlooked. So far for me I guess it would be the audio module even though it's not really too helpful to me yet or quite what I envisioned, followed by the ideas view. I initially wasn't too into the ideas view, but over time found it's helpful and have used it more than I thought I would.

    Ideas view and unique scene feature is my no1 new features.
    Completely change my workflow for the better and made it so much easier and alot quicker.

    I personally love using the touchstrip on the MK3 set to notes mode in combination with the arp patterns to play melodies and come up with interesting percussion patterns.

    So this is what really frustrated me they drop another expansion and yet no one from their team is men enough to let us know whats going on with this open letter. If they have even look into some of our concern. I bet if we were to ask a question regarding a product we want to buy they would get back to us within mints.

    Not trying to defend their silence but those are two completely unrelated things. Why would NI not release expansions because the open letter was not fulfilled yet? Lot's of people like expansions and ceasing releases because of the open letter would make no sense. Software developers don't make expansions, those are done by external sound designers. Because the development has been super slow it doesn't mean our concerns are not taken into account.

    Again, I don't see any relation... Let's say want I to buy Komplete 11 and I have concerns so send a ticket with questions and the pre-sales support department replies, what does that department have to do with the Director of Products who wrote this open letter (Jonas or Florian)? He doesn't reply to pre-sales questions as that's not his job just like Support cant answer questions about this open letter...

    So D-One where is NI focus at right now? Expansions and Sounds.com ? so that doesn't affect in a bit that none of our request are being answered? aren't NI Development team working on an add to be able to drag and drop from sounds to Maschine? I believe the expansions are part of sounds I mean I can be wrong. Are they really listening to us ?because this is all I care. I personally feel like a fool, after I bought MK3 all the bugs that I have run into for the workaround I need to buy an extra this and that when I really shouldn't. Maschine 2 should be able to handle basic feature, those know bugs since Maschine 1.8 they shouldn't be known bugs they should have been fixed.

    I don't understand how you can come here and literally say that you don't see any relation of when I ask for a product before I buy it and after I bought it for support even thought they are two deferent departments. it is the same company and they have to keep the same energy. or what do they only care about me as a customer before I buy the product? because I haven't seem no one from support, sales or whatever trying to give us an answer after what? almost 3 years now. and then you are telling me I should be okay with then releasing new content but feeling ignore? I see how it works. what I don't underhand how you can be okay with that. since when this is acceptable for a company to lie to us ignore us and act like we don't exist.

    I might be alone in this island but I am sick and tired of NI.

    Firstly let's establish something that doesn't seem obvious to many of us, NI is much more than just Maschine, Maschine is probably not even in the top list of most profitable stuff they sell those two facts alone explain a lot. I don't think there is such a thing as focus when you're taling about completely different departments. That's like asking what is Apple's focus: Phones, OS, Laptops, Product development, App Store, iTunes, etc, etc... It's a question that doesn't make sense as they have people in charge of each one of those things. I understand it's annoying to see things released that are not your personal priority but that doesn't necessarily mean those releases are the cause of the delays...

    Machines development team focus is Maschine development like the name implies, they don't stop coding to go make Expansions or Sounds.com... this is 500+ staff company, not a small group of 5 people working in someone's basement.

    Of course, it does affect me and it's super frustrating I just don't blame everything else they release for the delay in implementing what they announced was coming. To be fair I do think that there was stuff released for Maschine that no one asked for like the Bass Synth for example and I rather that time was spent on the Sequencer but others can disagree and love that Synth.

    Yes and no. We don't all agree amongst each other and have different priorities, so our desires need a lot of filtering which is understandable... This is what I am allowed to say: They are aware of what the majority of us want and are working on it, probably now more than ever, that doesn't necessarily mean a huge update is just around the corner though.


    In this single paragraph you put: legacy bugs, pre-sales support, open letter announcement silence all in the same conversation like it's the same thing and one single issue and also relate that to expansions and sounds.com... Like I said previously, I do acknowledge the problems but I dont see the relation the way you do.

    In their shoes, considering how annoyed and confused 'we' are (mainly in the forum) I believe a public apology and explanation of what happened and whats being developed at the moment would be beneficial but since the open letter didn't go so well it could also backfire and just have a mass of skeptic and toxic replies. When I mess up I have no problem saying "Sorry" and giving an explanation, happens often on here on the forum but I am a person, it's a bit naive to think a huge company can behave like an individual.

    I understand your point of the situation and you gave me a great example. man I LOVE my MK3 it is just frustrating I had to literally buy Logic and change my whole workflow to be able to do some of the things I need to do like basic internal midi routing that should be supported in Maschine 2. They need to do better. Like look at the timeline of when was their last statement on this and since they had time to post on their blogs, front page, IG and even in the community but they haven't gotten back to us how is that anyone in that company doesn't feel the need to communicate with us.

    I think most of us have moved on to different solutions now. Too bad so sad. I still use the controller I won't use the Maschine software unless I feel loopy loop (which is rare). Regardless if I did this the FIRST thing I would do is export it and forget the Maschine software again.

    Thing is they only really made things worse by not further responding afterwards so people feel both ignored and cheated. I don't believe that is truly the case. Obviously the best response is the long promised development but I guess that's still a way off yet. However just indicating that they do even look at what's going on here could go a long way towards making people feel less abused.
