Option to remove unwanted library content from drive

    Kontakt sample library sizes exploded in the past few years. Some manufactures like Orchestral Tools and Spitfire Audio offer libraries that require more than 100 GB of space, mainly because you can choose between dozens of mic positions. Especially at the moment it is a problem because everybody uses SSDs which are about 10 times as expensive as HDDs and often a lot of the provided content is not needed.

    This is why I would highly appreciate an option to remove unwanted content from your disk, at least patches and mic positions.

    Not something Kontakt needs to handle (also there's no way to really know in general how things are laid out in the instrument by Kontakt, so forget about this happening on Kontakt side!) - this is something library developers need to handle - and Spitfire actually handles that really nicely, since in most cases they pack mic positions to separate monoliths, and you can remove things from NKIs that you don't want to use, read:
