    Hello everybody.

I bought Reaktor recently and I've been watching video lessons, tutorials and so on but noticed most of them don't seem to use the latest version and I've found some basic differences that I'd like to confirm with you (because the docs don't seem to include such info).

Factory instruments only ship as ensembles, is this correct?
I've noticed some older versions let users insert factory instruments in their ensembles but in my case there's no option in my contextual menu. What I've done is save them as instruments in my hard drive so I can load them later but I'm not sure this would work with all of them.

Core items are no longer available in the contextual menu (unless I'm inside a core macro), correct?
This one sounds like a logical step but I found some comments on this thread: https://www.native-instruments.com/...6-issue-with-core-macros.328853/#post-1647371

And here's a screenshot of an instrument I couldn't reproduce as shown (I ended up using primary oscillators). The guy in the video mentioned he took these from core oscillators but the only way I'm able to use them is inside a core cell (and I'd have to make some connections myself).

In Legacy Library are much instruments in essential folder (R3) direct in R4

    Right

There is a different between core cells and core macro
A macro is the shell where cell are in. So you can use core maros like the vid shows

Paste a core macro from your browser in the instrument if it's missed in the context menue.

I had no idea about a legacy library until you mentioned this. So I looked in my drive and found there's Legacy Library.zip which includes a lot of things. It wasn't installed on my Applications folder though, it was on /Users/Shared/Native Instruments/Reaktor Factory Library (macOS), in case someone is wondering, like me.

    Thanks Paule :)

But the main idea remains, these things were really deprecated at some point in Reaktor 6 and are now considered legacy then.

    It's the other way around
A core macro is inside a core cell :) , of which there used to be 2 variations ( audio and event ) ..in Reak. 6.0 now only audio core cells .
So from low level to high :
core low level modules--->core macro (filter ,osc etc) --->core cell
IOW , a core cell is the top level of a core structure and it is what you see on the screen together with all the other primary modules/macros
