    I'm running Reaktor 4 under OS9 in Logic 5.5 & as a VST plugin, I've noticed a few problems.
    1. The carbonized version of the plugin that installs automatically does not play well with Logic. You can load an ensemble, but if you quit the application and restart it, Logic crashes. I tried this with several ensembles and everytime I tried to load a song that used Reaktor as an instrument, it crashed.
I replaced the carbonized version with the classic version and this solved this problem. BUT...
    2. Now, when I load the working song with the Reaktor VST ensemble, it erases all of the data associated with Kontakt for a given song. So, if I use Reaktor in a song and Kontakt and load it, I have to manually load my Kontakt ensembles because the data in them is being overwritten by Reaktor.
    3. When I try to save a snapshot of an ensemble, the system crashes and I get a timeout error like I've never seen. It only happens when I press that horizontal slider above the list of snapshots in an ensemble. I wish I could be more descriptive here, but since NI is engaging in extortion regarding user manuals with this upgrade, I have no idea what that slider is or what it is supposed to do. It would have been nice to have provided a modicum of information about the new features to those who have upgraded without the box.
