I miss Kore's morphing capabilities the most. Are there other products available that enable such morphing between sounds, ideally at the parameter level. I started to use Izotope's Iris 2 which does it at the sample level starting from any WAV files. They do it by tracing areas in the spectrograms of the original sampled sounds (up to 4) and processing them like a sampler would do with LFOs, ADSR, loops, effects, automation for up to 100 parameters, etc. Very intriguing and powerful. Gorgeous interface. Very professional like other Izotope products (ex. Ozone and RX). Check the videos. I also know about Sample Logic products such as Morphestra 1 & 2, Generations, CineMorphX, etc. Any other such morphing programs available?
When it works, the AET filter in Kontakt is cool too, you can make two layers of different instruments and assign a control to the Morph knob.
There are several that try to do it - Audiomulch's Metasurface device probably comes closest and in some respects is more powerful, but I find it doesn't morph as smoothly unless you pick params really carefully and is harder to set up (plus only 32 bit). There are some Live M4L devices too but they don't work well at all. Oli Larkin's PMix would be great if it wasn't so crashy: http://www.olilarkin.co.uk/index.php?p=pmix So still nothing that can really do this as effectively as Kore - Alchemy yes but only for its own sounds (there are several plugins that have morphing of their own presets - other examples include Linplug MorphoX, and Beepstreet Sunrizer, some Arturia plugins plus most Ohmforce plugins)
