Can you take other midi banks, such as alicia's keys and scarbee J-bass and use maschine to control them?

better yet....can they be loaded into maschine as a default sound that can be scrolled to and key-mapped on the pads?

I'm thinking out of the box here, so bare with me :D

    Thanks y'all,
    Tyler

there is a cut down version of the Scarbee Jay-Bass with the i.5 Library update.

you can send MIDI Out of Maschine to play other plugins - depending on which DAW you use - so you could do that and Sequence the Alicia Keys Soundpack.

not that simple, not yet...we can only hope :D

I've long imagined using vsts/ni instruments in Maschine...since I first got it, and I know I'm not alone, so we'll see what happens lol. Hopefully they've been listening to us

Yes the Machine 1.8 beta has full VST integration, you need to get on the beta tester program and then you can use any plug in or VST directly controlled from within maschine. Its really great....

Only joking, but one can dream :)

I actually think that a dedicated Maschine synth is more realistic than VSTI hosting, of course NI instrument integration would be the cream! Hosting VSTI's seems like to much of a departure from what Maschine is meant to be, for a start you would lose that tight integration between the controller and the software...

i suppose people are thinking in terms of how Kore2 works, where you can assign banks of 8 knobs to control the opened plugin. Maschine does have Macro knobs... maybe these could be assigned to control the Plugins.

Yep Kore has 8 Macro Knobs, maschine has 8 macro controlls. Coincidence? I think not.

Maybe have VST, then have a mapping tool in machine to decide what knob is assigned to what synth parameter.

I think it's highly possible for sure! Natural progression of the product, bringing all your production into one place, for those that don't want to use it, don't.

    Bring on the vsts :)

I see your point. I am not a Kore user, but I guess you are saying that it is potentially possible to emulate Kore's hosting capability within Maschine.

8 macros for 16 sounds or synthesizers its to slow-..........
like 1 macro for two sounds instrument - this is complette bullshit

we need 16 macros per sound
an alternative think is vsti integration or complett cc midi out ezt....

We compose things together, because we listen together
    we have seen together
Only one sound of a group is not working as composer for,
    but for re-arrangers, or beginners.
