    Hello.
I have Guitar Rig player on my laptop and use a Line 6 pod hd500 as an audio interface with no effects running on that device. I noticed that if I turn GR's master output down, it turns down the volume of the wet signal running through guitar rig, but not the dry signal of my guitar. So I end up hearing a little bit of my Guitar Rig tone and a little dry signal, too. If I turn the master output all the way up, what I hear is complete GR tone, as it should be. Do I have something configured wrong, or is that done purposefully?
    Thanks.

If you are only using the HD500 as a midi interface for GR5, then you will have to select a sound on the POD and remove all volume from it, you are hearing a bit of the POD with your mix and are just overpowering it when you crank up GR5.

    Hi

Can you guys help with my GR5 set up please.

I have a Toshiba Saterllite Pro Win 7 64bit, Scarlett 212 which takes the guitar input.

I don't understand the: IN LR Out LIMIT. work and what are the correct settings sorry if its a lame question.

    Regards.

OK, I think I understand what you are getting at.
LR is your inputs, Left or Right, GR5 can have 2 separate inputs at once, most guitarists will not need this, just pick one.
Out is your output level, try to keep it just below the red.
Limit is a limiter that can help you do that, adjust it as necessary, I use the Preset Volume at the bottom Learn function to give me a base line for most sounds, then boost or cut them as the song needs.

If you have your Scarlett set up then you will need to click on your audio Playback Devices (right click on speaker icon lower right hand corner of your screen) to make sure it is your default device, then do the same for Recording devices and select the input of your Scarlett.

If that is all done, with computer, Scarlett, and GR5 running, plug your guitar into your Scarlett then click on either L or R (one at a time) and your signal should come through.

I hope that makes sense, 2 margaritas ago I may have been able to explain better.
    :)

Ok that's good info thank you, much appreciated.

What does Tractor 12 have to do with GR5 ? I note some patches require Tractor 12 to work.

If you read this information you will understand why Tractor 12 would be a component used with certain presets. By including a few presets that utilize Tractor 12 NI encourages people to purchase the product. Tractor 12 is part of both Kompetes. Komplete does not include any additional Guitar Rig presets. NI is just providing a few presets which can be used with GR that use additional plug-ins sold outside of Guitar Rig.

Also regarding the LR Input slider, when your audio interface has two inputs the L coincides with channel 1 and R coincides with channel 2. The one you have your guitar plugged into is the determining factor when selecting the L or R. Many people wonder why they are not getting any audio from GR and not understanding this is often the source of the problem.
