Output position of mixer controls even when external is enabled.

    Problem: I am trying to route traktor audio through ableton live, I can setup the audio no problem but when external mixing is enabled I need a way to get the kontrol s4 mixer control positions to live to control it's cross/channel faders and such, since I a) can't just midi map them in live while s4 is in HID mode (HID device access is exclusive) and b) traktor does not output the position of the faders via midi while in external mode.
    Solution:
    An option to output these controls position via midi even if external mixing is on.

    My only other alternative is to remap the s4 in MIDI by hand. Not an appealing alternative considering I like the s4's layout just fine, I just want to use the controls elsewhere.

    you can output your fader and knob positions via midi. YOu have to make your own "generci midi" mapping using Virtual midi as output and then traktor will send every state of faders, knobs and leds to this output that can be assigned to an input in ableton.
