I would like to see more flexibility in output routing. Specifically:

    (1) Send the metronome (MIDI "tick" sound) down a separate channel if necessary. I like to play with live musicians when I can, and this would substantially help. Currently I use an unholy combination of Traktor and Ableton just to get that click out. I don't want it in my headphones but I want it in the drummer's. It would be great to be able to channel that stream independently of the audio or monitor. I can't be the only one who thinks this would be useful?

    (2) Bring back the "booth" output. There are times when additional output flexibility is necessary. If you have NI's Audio 8 DJ soundcard, it would be great to be able to actually use all the outputs. (I realize they are in use with TSP and then you can use an external mixer to get your booth output but it would be great if those outputs were also available to TP users).

I miss the Booth output a lot. Not all DJs monitor in their headphones and its not always possible or convenient to use the mixers monitor.

I never understood why it was removed or why more people arent angry about it.

I see Karlos beat me to it... yes, I definetly think having a booth output routing possibility would not be a bad idea. Also, I think the idea of being able to route the metronome ticking somewhere other than the headphones is a good one, too (mostly on the basis that when using an external mixer, it is currently routed into the same place as the channel output ... I mean; I might want to hear a tick even when I'm actually playing a channel - without it being audible on the actual channel itself).

I suggested some years ago now my desperate need to be able to send the tick to a separate channel.

I use Martin Light Jockey to control my lighting rigs and its a great bit of kit, but all the sound to light options on most DMX control software seem to use wave forms, and as such I can not get a clean change of lights to the beat.

Traktor could solve this whole issue by simply letting me route the tick to a sperate channel and hey presto instant lights exactly the to beat.

I LOVE Traktor and I LOVE Light Jockey.

Please help them both to work together

    Cheers
