    Hi

I have Sonar 2.0, and I use Battery with it. However, I don't have multiple outputs in VST-mode, only in the stand-alone. Any suggestions to what I can do about it. If you have the same problem as i do, please mail both Native-instruments and Cakewalk, so they can fix it.

    Hi,
I have the same problem with the outputs. I can not change the number of output channels in Cakewalk. The combo boxes are greyed and disabled. Did you fix the problem? Did you send a mail to NI?

Multi outs in Sonar, using Battery 2

    Hi

No, i diden't fix it, and I've spoken to several people, and they all
say that it can't be done. I solved the problem by using the DR-008 (included in sonar)drumkits, and the snare from Battery.
My retailer said that someone at Native I assumed that the next
generation Battery will include support for multiple outputs. Hence I'm
still keeping my copy, awaiting an upgrade.

I sent an e-mail to NI, but they diden't answer. Have you spoken to anyone
    else?

I've discussed this with NI support in the past. Sonar 2.0 uses
DXi 2 technology with does support multiple outs. However, all of
    NI's soft-synths are DXi 1.0 only.

NI claims they are in the process of DXi 2.0 support for some
packages like Battery and Kontact. Then it will all be good.
