Outputs not working after 5+ hours reading about it

Hey all,

First of all, Merry Christmas! I feel like I know some of you by now by reading your replies in so many threads about outputs.

Here's the deal:

• I wanted to route AR60s Drummer through individual tracks on Ableton Live 9;
• I followed the now-obvious process - I created new outputs and associated them with each part of the kit (ie Kick to mo.1, Snare to mo2., etc);
• After watching countless videos, I realized that it wasn't working at all; the kit sounds ignored the mixer output I had selected, as well as the settings I selected (like Snare would keep playing even though I lowered its volume to 0 and OHs/Room were muted), and Live's Audio tracks weren't playing accordingly to the channels I set them for.

I'm using Kontakt Player (latest update) through Ableton live 9 on a MacBook Pro (2014). I'll gladly upload whatever it is needed if you can fix this for me. Ideally the ultimate goal would be to have AR60s running on 11 tracks so I could mix them individually, but right now I don't even mind mixing them on its own mixer section. It just isn't working now, and I lost total control of the outputs. Please help a brother out.

 

You first need to create the additional outputs in Kontakt's Output panel. Say, 16 stereo outputs. Then save that setup as default for VST or AU (depending which plugin flavor you loaded in Live). Then remove that instance of Kontakt and load it up again. Now load AR60 and do the routing.
