Pad Mode on Traktor DJ2 (S2MK3)

    Hi,

    My son got the S2MK3 for Christmas. Until he gets a Laptop son, he uses it with an iPad and the DJ 2 App. Now we are wondering how to get to the samples (how to load/edit/use them). Both pads (Hotcues and Samples) are not lighted. Can the samples function only be used with the Laptop Version?

    Sorry we are (or especially I’m) a newbie.

    Hey,

    what I do is to load them on my mac (PC when you are on windows) and analyse the tracks with any Traktor software (Traktor DJ 2 is free). From there you can add CUE points. They don't light because there are no Hotcue's set yet. That's why you can do that on the software itself. When you load them in any Traktor software the CUE points will be saved within the audio file in a meta data.
