Paint Peeling Off Already?

BTW that's dirt not scratches on the new faceplate. A little dust from in between the cracks of the old faceplate.

 

My new faceplate arrived today... After telling him in my email to pack it better, they seemed to have listened...

 

I jost got a response within 5 hours but they say that no plates are in stock -.-

 

Same here. I dont mind waiting. At least I know it has been noted and my name is on the waiting list.

 

i made a support ticket as well makes me worry a bit about the durability of the parts used inside of this mixer hehe. but we'll see. hope it will last some years.

 

I've been waiting for more than 3 months now to get my replacement faceplate mailed and nothing... I've been sending mails to the service center to have an update with my ticket number and no answer. This is ridiculous, and pretty lame I was using Pioneer hardware till I got this Kontrol Z2 and this pisses me off and want to get back to Pioneer! I mean even the paint around the knobs is peeling off!

 

Is there a place where I can get the faceplate from? I wouldn't like to wait for NI to replace mine.

 

Greetings all, I saw on eBay many moons ago a see-through sticker (film) with a slot in the middle of it that you place under the faders and levels. It was for the S4 (or I guess the S2 as well) but I thought I would be great for the Z2 also. However, I can't seem to that item anymore. Does anyone know of it or something similar that you can place on the mixer like a label that only protects the paint not the whole face like a skin?

Jeez, my face plate looks like the cack. Ive now had my 4 month anniversary since my ticket was issued. Australia is a great place to live but I think we must be last on NI's priorety list.

 

Wondering a bit about this faceplate thingy. I had a close look at the S2 and S4 and they both as the Z2 have similar design with a glossy plastic around the faders. Now both S2 and S4 have printing under the plastic and the Z2 on top.
Im 100% sure theres been an mistake here in the manufacturing process.
Can this some how be confirmed by NI and perhaps a hint of a future solution to this ?

NI W T ? Waiting since NOVEMBER 2012 for replacement FacePlate

I dont know what is up with NI, Ive been waiting since NOVEMBER 2012 for replacement Face Plate. The email im registered for support with is CacoteoRadio @ gmail . com, Ive gotten two emails in response saying that when they are available I will get one, but seeing as some have only had theirs for 4 months and have gotten replacements, I see some of us are getting put into the back burner. Any NI employees here? Paint gone in a week and a half after purchase and been waiting over 7 months after creating a support ticket and still nothing has been done.

 

is this problem happening with all units or only with the first ones shipped?

 

Been waiting almost 3months for a replacement faceplate. Anyone else know how long itll take?

 

Got my Z2 in Dec, paint was worn off in two weeks, sadly didn't send in my ticket until March and got a decent quick response, but no faceplate yet. Yesterday they sad they will send it to me as quick as it is possible, but this moment, they don't have some in stock
