I can't get the panel index to function properly on a stacked macro. The little orange light won't light up. I've gone through the steps on the tutorial and everything. Even if I delete the panel index from the tutorial macro and insert a new one, that light wont function and the index ceases to work.

the panel index module has an "always active" setting in the properties, try that. you CAN make it lturn on otherwise, but it must be in a valid audio/event path, and this is not always the case when building.

one problem, though, is if you are using switches, since an always active module can make certain other components "always on" that are attached to it, regardless of the switch setting. i personally only use switches when absolutely necessary, though, like for powerhungry FX.

OK, always active works, but the stacked macro now will only switch between the first two macros I put into it. It seems to just ignore the third. I put one filter in it, then copied it twice. I have included screenshots for possible diagnosis of the problem. In the operator structure, the filterbox simply contains the same thing as the stacked macro, minus the index control. It is not supposed to be functioning, so don't worry about that.
