    Dear NI,

I am one of your Endorsed Artists, I am very worried about not being able to run my main virtual application. I can't stop my projects.. please help!

I have just upgraded my powerbook G4 (400mhz) to panther.

My registered Absynth 2 crashes. How can I unistall everything to re-do a clean install.

Why is it crashing?? please provide help.
Your tech support line is always busy.

    Hi Diestra,

Absynth should work perfectly fine in Panther, so your problem can probably be fixed easily. However, I need to know some more information - when does Absynth crash? Are you using standalone or plug-in?

Let me know and I'll try to help you out as quickly as I can.

    Best,

    Jake

    Absynth Crash in Panther/Details

    Jake, how are you?

Since I am waiting on the Update for DP4, I have been using Absynth StandAlone to perform.

I basically erased my Hard Drive to take Os9 out and just keep Panther on my Powerbook.
I did a Clean Install of Absynth from my NI CD.
All my aplications work just fine, except for Absynth.

This is what happens to Absynth when it starts to load:

    - Icon bounces on the Dock
    - Absynth Keyboard comes up for about 15 Secs
    - Application Crashes
    - Gives error: The Application Absynth 2.0 has unexpectedly quit. The system and other applications have not been affected.

What can I do? Is ther a way to do a Clean Unistall and re-install the software from scratch??

    Thank you.

    Hi Diestra,

Have you tried downloading the 2.02 update to Absynth? This fixes problems with some M-Audio interfaces under OSX.

    Best,

    Jake

I had Absynth with all updates running in Jaguar

    Jake,

I had it all worked out in Jaguar with all updates.

The problem in Panther is that it crashes Absynth from the 1st install.

I did try to update it to the latest update possible, and still ot crashed.

    Please offer me a solution.
Do you have a procedure to unistall it completely and then re-install?

    Thank you,
