Paranormal and Kore Player Windows Upgrade

I'm running windows xp, Cubase SX and Kore Player and have quite a few Kore Sound Packs. Bought Paranormal a few days ago and upgraded Kore as requested. After upgrading, my Kore Player comes up as 2.1.0.009. Was the windows version not upgraded to 2.1.1 at the time I downloaded it(Thursday or Friday) or do I have the right one. I tried deleting koredb and restarting kore player but I lost all the links to the other soundpacks in Kore and didn't see paranormal either eventhough all the sound files seem to be in the right place. I also uninstalled all the soundpacks, reinstalled and reactivated them. Finally I just restored the deleted koredb file and at least have everything but paranormal.Help.

    Hi,

we do not recommend to delete the Koredb file since this contains your ratings and color settings. Instead, a "Full Rescan" from the "Database" tab of the Kore 2 Preferences should do the trick. For Kore Player we recommend to delete the file "Soundpacks.cache" which is located here:

    PC:

    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kore 2

    Mac:

    [User]\Library\Application Support\Native Instruments\Kore 2

Make sure that you have Kore 2.1.1 or Kore Player 2.1.1 installed before trying this.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

here is an update regarding this matter.

We found out that a "Full Rescan" in Kore 2.1.1 will not fix this issue, so you have to delete the soundpacks.cache for Kore 2 as well. We have now added a knowledge base article for this issue:

Kore Player doesn't show Paranormal Spectrums

As the title says. Both on my Macbook Pro and XP Pro SP 3 desktop. I updated to Kore Player 2.1.1 and tried reinstalling on both, cause neither worked just by updating Kore Player. Still nothing. Under Soundpacks on my PC I have: Compilation Vol. 1, Evolve Mutations and Kore Player but no Paranormal Spectrums. Interestingly though, I do see Paranormal Spectrums listed under File/Set Sample Content Path. Same thing on the Mac. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Gotcha. Thanks. Worked on both. However, on my Macbook Pro, the files were under:
    Mac HD/Users/<Me>/Library/Applications Support/Native Instruments/Kore Player.
