Sorry if this has been detailed before, but the search did not yield any results:

I want to buy Komplete 7 but only install Kontakt and Battery (and maybe FM7). Is that possible and how much disk space would that require?

Need to buy a new computer too, that's why I'm asking.

Yes, that is possible. The install wizard will ask you which programs and libraries you want to install.
Install the ones you want. Done!

    Yes it is.

Its about 76 to 80 gig (ish) for Kontakt and Battery (I assume when you say Kontakt you mean the Kontakt Library and the additional pianos and scarbee stuff).

The whole DVD set I believe weighs in about 90 gig.

... oh and with a bit of work you can cut down the size by deleteing samples.

I took the policy that for synths I will use Reaktor, for percussion Battery and the Vintage 60's drum kit so cutting out all synth samples and percussion (other than mentioned) my library directory is weighing in at 67 gig.

I would like to expand upon this, if I could,
I have Komplete 5 on my Receptor and would like to know if I could uninstall the more intensive plugs like kontackt and the other sample based instruments and load them on My PC which would be more capable of handling them. Is this possible?
