Hmm, so i do my jazzy stuff, and there you go...I thought first my headphones going down, but unfortunately...it was something else....I thought 3.06Ghz, 4GB of Memory ,bus speed 1.07Ghz is enough....
So what happenned? I do load ex. percussion kit to Group A, and at least 5 simple Reactor's sounds into Group H. So, going wild I put in motion selected ,one by one Reactor's sounds.All good for now. Then I fancy another sound from Kontakt library, and here where my smile is gone...start to hear cracks, not so smooth anymore, sounds like software do great amount of work to play all sounds in preffered manner, smoothly as it can. And this is only group A and H at present. So, heard I have to move all Library to separate HD. You guys think this is the answer? for now I give more hugs to my maschine, to soften her unacceptable stance...Come on baby who's your daddy? oh, that's right NI...

 

i would be interested to know what you think 5 "simple Reaktor sounds into Group H" means?

can you say exactly what you mean by this? are you talking about 5 instances of Reaktor? and what Ensembles were you using?

people use fast external HDs mostly for Audio - which would include sample heavy projects.

maybe you should try increasing the buffersize in your Maschine Audio Preferences?

Thanx for interest. So, i use Photone on 1,2,3 pads with sounds which comes from photone library, Fx:tintifax or any other. I do not change any parameters of particular sounds.I use it as it is set within photone default.Then Spark, Steampipe the same way.
So on top of that i use, at this moment, or I try to, High Whistle from Kontakt library, again i do not change anything...that is here where i hear it. Cannot prolong whistle sound, as it make harder for software to cope with it. I run in 32bit mode.

when it comes to Maschine's library sounds, i can fill all pads and groups and bend them, stretch them or do other unbelievable crunchy stuff, and have amazing results. Somehow, somewhere, something not aloud do the same tricks with other libraries ...I know it will be fixed, just we need to find this devil sitting on the detail....

 

I think a lot of people's systems would struggle with five instances of Reaktor inside Maschine...

And using Reaktor's library is not like using the Maschine library. The Reaktor plugin takes significantly more CPU power than the native Maschine 'Sampler' module.

You could try spreading your Reaktor instances over different groups, though I doubt it will do any good, it's just an idea. I don't know how Maschine deals with the CPU (apart from the fact it doesn't use more than one core), so it might make no different if you have all Sounds loaded in just one Group or spread throughout the project. Worth a try though.

Also, if you're not tweaking the ensembles and you have made patterns, resample them as audio and play the audio loops intead and then disable the instances of Reaktor. This will, of course, alleviate your problems somewhat.

did it already..one reaktor in one group(C,D,E,F,G)..Kontakt (H-group).the same...amazingly it's happen when I load 6th plug-in, and it could be anything. as a plug-in ..so i guess I am limited to 5, but will search other solution though, the field is vast, so I will not stop... even though 5 is limitation in my case, when i put 5, let's say Reaktors into one group, and the rest groups filled with all kinds of drum kits, all works fine...I just tested CPU abilities...i have to do it, I need to be sure before I purchase KOMPLETE...Anyway my Maschine is a friend for life, nobody will change that

you can try loading multiple maschine instances inside your daw (if you have one). That way you can make use of your systems multi-core. Simply spread the VSts across 2 ore more of those instances. In my experience this works quite well.
