Is it possible to pass a modifier value between different devices?

What I'm thinking of doing is having 2 devices to control remix decks (as well as for other functions), e.g.
    1. Behringer X Touch Mini (for volume, filter, etc.)
    2. Reloop Neon (for triggering cells, etc.)

When using either of these devices, it will be in a certain 'state', e.g. controlling remix deck C (and not some other function like remix deck D, loops or something else). When I switch to that state, I'd like for the other device to switch to its equivalent state automatically (instead of pressing a button on that controller to do it).

I think if I set both devices in ports to 'all ports' then I might be able to do it, but I use other devices (beyond these 2) and I don't want to have to worry about any erroneous messages being processed.

    Is there any other way?

If you only need one or two modifiers you can use 'sample page selector' for "Remix Deck A/B" even if they are NOT remix decks but track decks. You can use page 1-4 as conditions across the board for all mappings. They work and don't influence the functioning of the track/stem deck, but are only half length. It should be suitable to indicate which remix deck the two controllers should be controlling. For example: "sample page selector (RMXDeck A) page 1" for deck C; "sample page selector (RMXDeck A) page 2" for deck D. I have used it in the past for expressely that purpose.

That is the idea of MLM. It can go to any number of variables

The remix decks idea is far simpler, but very limited in thw number of variables.

    I’d go with sulher idea.

If not, then you need to setup some kind proxy/ virtual controller, which receives both midi inputs from the controllers (with bome it’s an option)

you could also try to setup a series of virtual controllers and virtual midi cables, that interconnect to eachother, but it’s a bit of a mess
