    Some more info:
    - i write everything to tracks
    - pasting into the title field with part of the title selected will cause the crash
    - pasting into the Artist field will not cause a crash
    - pasting into an empty title field will not cause a crash
    - this will not crash on every file
    - once a file has crashed Traktor it does not crash it again when i perform the paste on it (this may point to a possible cause? encoding may update once Traktor writes to the file, perhaps something goes wrong there)
    - the tag will update in the file despite the crash
    - it appears that only the GUI has crashed, i can still shutdown Traktor with the X button (win7), and it will even store the track collection on exit

Copy the text that caused the crash here. I can try to reproduce.

might have something to do with the file's initial encoding then... not all of mine here exhibit the behavior, only some

    Hi Wayfinder,

Does it happen on any file type (MP3, M4A, FLAC)?

    So far, only on mp3s.

I've also noticed a pattern that many of the affected tracks were added to my collection a long time ago, with Traktor Pro 2

Hey! Would be great if you could isolate such file *before* you trigger the crash be making a copy of the MP3 that you would then send us for a reproduction on our side.
I'm pretty confident that once we hold the MP3 and the recipe how to crash it in our hands, we can fix this bug.

I did a fair bit of looking but wasn't able to find another track that exhibited the problem. I'll try to keep it in mind, in case it happens again.

Looks like the character set is somewhat incomplete at least? "Ō" for example will not appear as a glyph, only as a space.
