Patch loads settings ok but not the actual samples Cubase

I have just reinstalled a new OS to a differnt hard drive. As such, I'm having this issue where I load an old Cubase song, which has Akoustik piano in it, and the settings load correctly as in the dials on the piano etc, but it doesn't load the actual samples themselves. If i click on a piano, it will load the samples then, but reset all the dials to default. I just want to use the settings from my old songs, without having to remake them all. This is with Cubase 5 and SX3 aswell. I pointed the AP to the correct libarary, and everything should work fine, it all works in standalone mode. just the samples arnt loading with the cubase song. please help...

 

If there was a way for you to load a differnt piano whilst keeping the same dials settings, then that would be a workaround. anyone know if there is? because if i click a piano now it resets all the dials to their defaults.
