    This scale feature essentially would be a time multiplier or divider for a specific pattern.
    At 1/4, a 16 step sequence would progress from 1-16 a .25% the speed of the BPM. Likewise, you could multiply x2 and it would progress at double the speed of the bpm. This would make the step sequencer on Maschine much more usable IMO and give a lot of flexibility while keeping every pattern at the desired bar count. For me, I mostly use 16 bar patterns/scenes. Adding scales to the step sequencer would make it much more flexible.
