Pause/Play Button Issue in Reaktor

Hi all.... my 1st post. I am a Komplete/Reaktor newbie. I was reading the Reaktor tutorial manual (latest version), and came across the instruction to "Press the Play Button to Pause" the playback of the sample that was playing. Well, it would not Pause. The Stop button works, but returns to Zero. The Play button should Pause, then Resume Play when pressed (clicked) again.

Anyone having this problem, or is there a setting I have overlooked?

which ensemble are you using?

 

ANY of them. It doesn't seem to matter. The Play button will not pause playback in my application. Thanks for the reply.

these buttons only work when Reaktor is in Standalone Mode.

when you use a DAW, you have to use your DAW's Play and Stop buttons.

but then i might be misunderstanding you?

please mention the page in the manual your are referring to and also be very specific about the Ensemble(s) you are talking about. many Synth Ensembles do not need the Play button to be on, whilst Ensembles that use Sequencers, do. so you really do need to say which Ensemble you are using, and also whether you are using Reaktor in Standalone Mode.

OK... I am using Reaktor in Standalone mode.
I can be in ANY ensemble that utilizes the Sequencer Start/Stop buttons, but in this case I am on page 68 of REAKTOR 5.5 Getting Started Guide, using Monoliner. It can be Limelite, Rhythmaker, or ANY of them that use the Buttons.
I press Play, it plays. I press Play again, it keeps on playing and does not Pause. Pressing Stop stops play.

sorry, for some reason your posts were being 'Auto Moderated' and could not be seen until they were 'Approved'.

i have just tried this with Limelite. if you Press Stop in the middle of a cycle, the Sequence will be 'paused' and when you press Play again, it will play from the stopped position. if you double click on Stop, and then press Play, it should then start from the beginning when you press Play.

that is how it works with Reaktor 5.1.5.

i will try with 5.5.1 later today to see if there is any difference.
