Performance FX automation bug

Hi guys,
i'm experimenting the brand new maschine jam and I found that is pretty cool and fits very well into mt existing maschine workflow.
Playing around with the new performance fx feature I tried to automate that.
I notice that the "engage" parametner is not recorded when you not press the touch strip.
I try explain better:
1- press auto to record automation
2- perform on touch strip
3- release the fx

this results into a remain engafed fx.
anyone experiencing something similar?
is it a bug?

I mean that the fx remains engaged and the automation recording do not registeer my finger leaving the touch strip

 

im thinking you need to slide up to turn on and slide down to turn it off .

 

the strip is touch sensivity, it turns on when u press it and turns off when u leave it.

 

Ok ,that makes sense , technically it could work like that on the studio then as it has touch sensitive knobs , it doesn't though you have to turn the knob .

 

you can lock the auto button and then got your both hands free to play the knobs ...
also i use the traktor F1 to play the perform fx , but it's then not automatable ...but super fun

 

Did you solve this? I am finding the same bug on Maschine 3 touchstrip. Sometimes it seems to lock in perform fx, they even keep going when I press stop.
