Performance section not working

Today i plugged in my two D2s. one works fine but the others performance section is not working. i've put it in vegas mode and everything lights up bar the bottom row of button and the loop encoder. the hot cues light up but i cant do anything with them. yesterday i had this problem so i closed traktor unplugged and plugged back in and all was fine but today nothing. ive uninstalled the driver and reinstalled, checked all the settings in control manager. this is only the third time ive used them.since i did the latest software update. like i said my other d2 is working so i cant understand why this one has packed in. has anyone else had a similar problem. many thanks
