I upgraded to 1.5, and it went smoothly. I got the add-on sounds, they went smoothly as well. I boot up Maschine for the first time "post-upgrade" to check everything out and Maschine no longer recognizes my MBox as a possible Audio routing option, and it no longer recognizes my KeyRig MIDI keyboard. It at least sees the MIDI keyboard, it just won't turn it on, keeps it turned off. But the MBox isn't even there.

It was all working fine a few hours before the upgrade, that was the last time I had tried it all together. They have always all worked together, never a problem until now.

I can launch ProTools and the MBox works fine as does the MIDI keyboard. I can launch Ableton and it sees the MBox as well as the MIDI keyboard. I know it's not my hardware, I know it's not my computer, it's Maschine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

As to the MIDI problem, click on where it says off iin the menu- it should turn on.
The MBox not being recognized- try making an aggregate device of the MBox ins and outs in your OSX audio setup menu. Does Maschine see the aggregate?

MBox isn't an option when i try to add an aggregate. Funny thing is, I can choose it as the default output and input from the main Audio MIDI Setup screen. So I picked it as the main input/output, and opened iTunes and the music comes right out of the MBox. Open Maschine, back to computer speakers even though I set the MBox as the primary input/output device.

    This sucks.

Im having a similar issue as well, the update went well but the MIDI ports on my Maschine controller are no longer being recognized. I go to Audio and MIDI Settings -> MIDI tab and I no longer have an option for Maschine under Device Name. The same goes for when Im in Ableton, when I go to MIDI sync I no longer have the Maschine Controller option in Input or Output. I do still have the Maschine Controller option for the Main Controller option in Ableton. I have installed the the contoller driver numerous times and still the same results.

I love my Maschine, and I love all of the things that came with this free update, so I don't want to sound ungrateful, but this update has just killed my workflow.

All of the new instrument sounds take FOREVER to load up, like a good 20 seconds from clicking the name. The old instrument sounds take that long now too, it's weird. The drum kits don't though, old or new, and they actually load faster. Navigating around in the software is just way slower overall, like loading a project, switching between windows, etc. It's unreal, it's like someone turned it down to 50%.

Put that on top of not being able to use my MBox anymore to route sound and suddenly I have a piece of equipment that I paid $600 for that used to work perfectly that's severely hampered as a result of this upgrade.

I've only had good experiences with NI in the past, so I don't want to be too hasty and jump the gun, but this is really a problem.

I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers for my sound card and now everything is being recognized and working as it should.

I tried that, nothing. Glad it worked for you.

I sure you have installed Maschine over and over, but have you tried installing masching with nothing hooked up to your mac? Nothing except for your input keybord, mouse, and maybe your soundcard.

    Hi,

    please try the following:
    - locate the Maschine.app in your application folder
    - open the info dialog (cmd+i)
    - is the 32-bit mode option checked? if not, check it & restart maschine.
    - is the mbox recognized now?

re loading times, some of the new sounds (abbey roads) have much more sample layers and will take longer to load

    hope this helps
    best
    Jens

Problem solved, thank you so much. It seems like the application is running smoother all around.

If that particular step was mentioned somewhere that I overlooked then accept my apology for my stupidity.

    Thanks a ton!
