This is a petition for NI to:

    (1) Release a standalone program to export the Kore Database (including star ratings) to a neutral container format (CSV, preferably) so that other programs can make use of it. If it needs to be a multi-table export, so be it, as long as NI tells us how to accomplish the joins.

    (2) Release detailed specifications for the MIDI operation of the Kore controller so that it can be used with other programs.

If you support this petition, please post "signed" below.

    Thank You,
    DE2005

But.. Why not just petition to keep KORE alive? After all, without us, NI would be broke and wouldn't be able to stay afloat. NI's customers = NI's livelihood

All I ask is that I can have a second liscence for when I update to Komplete8. Im basically keeping a legacy machine to have kore and komplete7 together... Im ready to keep spending money on NI, but not buying Komplete8 from scratch on my new laptop when that day comes.

L-Rey - I presume the thinking is that we're better to make the best of a bad situation than to push for something that's probably not going to happen. I presume NI have done the numbers and decided that Kore is not sustainable, and they're unlikely to do a u-turn on that, but they're still going to want to keep people as happy as possible (hence the free sound packs). Releasing a db exporter (or publishing the file formats so that someone else can write one) and publishing the specs for the controller would go a long way in the right direction to my mind.
